Ghanaian forward Bernard Tekpetey has ended the season on a high after helping Ludogorets win both the Bulgarian league and the Bulgarian Cup.
Tekpetey was part of the squad that beat CSKA Sofia 1-0 in the Cup final, thanks to a goal from Caio Vidal, even though he didn’t play in the match.
The win gives Tekpetey his third consecutive Bulgarian Cup title and brings his total trophy count with Ludogorets to nine including five league titles.
The former Schalke 04 player has become one of Ghana’s most successful footballers in Europe in recent years.
Tekpetey, who played for Ghana at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, is expected to return home for a break before joining Ludogorets for pre-season in July.
