Ghanaian international Bernard Tekpetey was on target as Ludogorets Razgrad secured a 3-1 victory over Dinamo Batumi in the UEFA Champions League qualifying round.
The Bulgarian giants took the lead in the 13th minute through Tekpetey’s goal, assisted by Brazilian midfielder Rick.
Rick doubled the lead 11 minutes later, ending the first half 2-0.
Dinamo Batumi pulled one back in the 62nd minute through Vladimer, but Ludogorets Razgrad sealed the win with a third goal from Aslak Fonn Wittry in the 71st minute.
Tekpetey’s goal takes his tally to 10 goals and 3 assists in 30 games for Ludogorets Razgrad.
The second leg of the qualifying round is scheduled for July 17, 2024, at the Batumi Arena in Georgia.
