Berekum Chelsea Coach Samuel Boadu charged by GFA for Misconduct in FA Cup tie

Berekum Chelsea coach Samuel Boadu has been charged by the Ghana Football Association for his behavior towards match officials after his team’s 1-0 loss to Asante Kotoko in the MTN FA Cup semi-finals on Sunday.

Boadu’s actions have been deemed a breach of Article 12 (1) (i) of the Disciplinary Code 2019 and Article 34 (6) (d) of the GFA Premier League Regulations 2019.

The experienced coach, a two-time MTN FA Cup winner, has until May 15 to respond to the charges.

Berekum Chelsea are currently sitting 10th with 41 points after 30 games in the Ghana Premier League

If found guilty, he could face further disciplinary action, which might impact his team’s performance.

Berekum Chelsea will be hoping that their coach can put this incident behind him and focus on guiding the team to success in the remaining matches.
