Germany-born Ghanaian forward Benjamin Boakye has officially joined German side Arminia Bielefeld from VfB Stuttgart.
The 20-year-old completed the move on July 1 and is expected to begin training with his new teammates immediately.
Arminia Bielefeld confirmed the transfer but kept the terms of the deal confidential.
Boakye expressed his enthusiasm about the switch, calling it a major step forward in his young career.
He praised the club’s management for their clear vision and commitment to his development.
The promising attacker is looking forward to playing at the SchücoArena and making an impact on the pitch.
“I’m really looking forward to this new challenge in a completely new environment for me. I want to take the next step in my career at Arminia. “
“The management has made a lot of effort for me and shown me the development prospects,” Boakye said as quoted on the club’s website.
He remains eligible to represent Ghana at the international level despite his German upbringing.
