Ghana’s number one goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare, has debuted a fresh new haircut featuring symbols associated with Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale, ahead of the Black Stars’ crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier against Comoros.
The haircut features Shatta Wale’s iconic hand gesture and the inscription “SM 4 Lyf” shaved into the side of his head.
Asare, a known fan of Shatta Wale, revealed that he listens to the musician’s songs before games to stay focused and composed.
The Black Stars will host Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 12, with Ghana needing just a draw to secure qualification for their fifth World Cup appearance.
