Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare has made a passionate plea to the club’s fans not to lose hope after their defeat to Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League Super Clash on Sunday.
The Phobians lost 1-0 to their arch rivals Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports in a week 13 clash thanks Albert Amoah late strike.
Speaking to the media after the game, Asare expressed his belief that Hearts of Oak will bounce back strongly in the second round to defeat Asante Kotoko
“The supporters shouldn’t give up because in the second round things will go well for Hearts of Oak.
“Hearts of Oak will also win the second leg against Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium, ” he said.
After the defeat Hearts of Oak are sitting 7th with 19 points.
They will host Berekum Chelsea in the capital, Accra, in GPL match-day 14.
