The top goal scorer from the last Ghana League last season scored his fifth goal of the season for Petrojet on Sunday in a game against Telecom Egypt, coached by Hassan before angering the Egypt legend with his goal celebrations in a 2-2 draw. Bekoe told KickOffGhana.com Hassan verbally abused me and claimed he had come “from the bush to misbehave” in a fit of rage before kicking him. The Ghanaian says he understands he has no chance of winning an argument against Hassan in Egypt but wants Egyptian football authorities to take the matter up and deal with it appropriately. But Bekoe insist the alleged incident is no reason why he will pack bag and leave Petrojet before the end of his three year deal with the club. “I won’t quit over this because my club have stood behind me and done nothing wrong. I have a contract I just cannot walk out of over this issue,” he said.
