Bekoe struck the winning goal for Petrojet in their opening league game of the Egyptian season and is primed for their next League game against Zamalek on Thursday. “I want to score as many goals as I can this season,” he told KickOffGhana.com. “I am setting my targets high because like most Ghanaian players I know that with a Nations Cup to come in January and a world cup that Ghana is very likely to play in, this season will be very crucial.” Bekoe is particularly keen to impress against Zamalek who passed up the chance to sign him before he ended up at Petrojet.
