Bechem United are ready to honour Augustine Okrah by naming stands of Nana Fosu Gyabour park after him.
The attacker earlier this month completed a move to Simba SC in Tanzania on a back of an outstanding campaign with the Hunters in the 2021-22 season.
Officials of the club have decided to use the money from Okrah’s sale to build a stand at the club’s home venue.
Once is completed, the stands will be named “The Okrah stand” to honour their former forward.
“Okrah has had two impressive spells with the club so the founder of the club wants to honour to player.
“All the transfer fees from Okrah’s deal to Simba will go into the construction of the “Okrah Stands”, revealed by sports journalist Saddick Adams.
The 27 year old already scored his debut goal for Simba in pre-season friendly and is looking forward to starting the 2022-23 season on the front foot.
