Bechem United whizkid Clinton Duodu has been ranked among 60 of the best young talents in world football.
The list which is compiled annually by the highly respected British daily newspaper The Guardian, also includes several high profile prospects including Bayern Munich‘s Paul Wanner, FC Barcelona’s Martin Georgiev, Juventus Kenan Yildiz and Real Madrid’s Alvaro Gines.
The 17 year old thus follows in the footsteps of former Bechem United striker Prince Kwabena Adu and Sporting Lisbon’s Fatawu Issahaku who were named in the 2020 and 2021 edition respectively.
Duodu has been one of the brightest youngsters in the Ghanaian top-flight since making his debut two seasons ago.
Bechem United are widely lauded for their scouting operation, which consists of trawling local clubs for young talent and immediately providing them with game time.
The versatile defender Aaron Essel is one such an example from this year’s group, although it is his teammate, Clinton Duodu, that is garnering more excitement among fans of the Ghanaian Premier League.
Clinton is a bona fide livewire with a growing reputation and a good head on his shoulders.
