Ghana’s beach soccer star Alexander Adjei has signed with Barcelona Beach Soccer Club in Spain, per reports.
The feat marks a historic first for Ghanaian beach soccer. Adjei, a two-time Afcon Beach Soccer Goal King, is known for his strength, pace, and goal-scoring ability. He has been instrumental in Ghana’s domestic league and national team, the Black Sharks.
The Brazilian coach of Barcelona Beach Soccer club, Leo Braga, expressed excitement about Adjei’s signing, saying, “This is a very exciting moment for the club and also for Alex because we have been monitoring his development for some time and we believe he can improve our team.”
