Ghana midfielder, Mohammed Kudus has been a target of Barcelona, the club’s sporting director, Jordi Cruyff has revealed.
The Ajax attacker is apparently being pursued by a number of elite Premier League clubs, including Liverpool.
The 22-year-old has scored ten goals for Ajax this season and netted twice for Ghana at the ongoing World Cup in Qatar.
“We’ve been tracking Mohammed Kudus for more than one year. We can’t say now that Barça want Kudus… but he’s attracting interest,” Jordi told Spanish outlet RAC 1.
“He’s scoring goals and in Holland, they discuss a lot about his position, so yes – I know him well,” he added.
For Ghana to advance past Uruguay and reach the round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup, Kudus will be crucial.
