Ghana’s progress to the final has led to calls for the likes of Rahim Ayew, Samuel Inkoom and Harrison Afful to be given more prominent roles in the qualifiers but Baffoe does not feel any of those players can break into the starting line up yet. “There are some players who have the potential but lets not push them into a pressure situation they are not ready for at this stage,” he told KickOffGhana.com. Instead Baffoe feels some of the more established European based players must be considered for the qualifiers. “Kojo Asamoah has become a regular at Udinese and Derek Boateng is an option too. They have the talent and experience for this level,” he said.
