Badu promises Stars won't freeze

Ghana have a date against Angola on Sunday and Badu who was ice cool in converting the crucial penalty that won Ghana the Under-20 World Cup in Egypt believes the Black Stars will surprise many and go past the host into the last four.

Badu has been magnificent and tireless in midfield for Ghana in the absence of Michael Essien and Anthony Annan and says on Sunday the Stars will play with the same spirit.

“We will fight for every ball again and hopefully we will surprise the Angolans because not many people are giving us a chance,” he told KickOffGhana.com. “We will relax and play football. We will not allow the pressure to get to us.”

As host, Angola have enjoyed tremendous home support and are looking to prolong the history of hosts consistently making the semi finals of the Nations Cup. Ghana on the other hand is seeking to reach the last four for a second straight tournament.
