The defensive midfielder looked all set to get a spot in Ghana’s squad for the 2010 World Cup before a knee injury scuppered that.
Now Badu is fully fit and back in Udine keen to build on the progress he made when he signed for the Italians in 2009.
“First let me say congratulations to my colleagues who did a brilliant job in South Africa as well as the manager. I was proud watching them even though naturally I was disappointed I was not a part of them”, Badu told KickOffGhana.com.
“But I am fully fit now and just keen to get started for the season. I played a number of first team games last season and my target is to become a first team player for Udinese and hopefully the Black Stars in the process.”
