Spanish La Liga FC Barcelona is on the verge of signing Ghanaian youngster David Oduro, on the final day of the summer transfer window.
Oduro impressed during a trial with the club in March and has been training with their youth teams, including the prestigious La Masia Academy.
His performances caught the attention of the club’s technical staff, leading to an imminent transfer.
Once confirmed, Oduro will become the first player to join Barcelona directly from Ghana.
He will start in the academy, with hopes of rising through the ranks to the first team.
Oduro has already made a name for himself in the Ghana Premier League with Accra Lions and the Ghana U20 team.
