BA United hire veteran coach Herbert Addo for Division One promotional play-offs

BA United have turned to experienced trainer Herbert Addo to steer their promotion to the Ghana Premier League.

The Sunyani-based are set for the Division One League promotional play-offs which is scheduled to start on 1 June.

Addo will be making a second return to the club he helped qualify to the top-flight in 1987.

“It is true we are outdooring him right now in Sunyani. If history is anything to go by we will qualify as it happened in 1987,” B.A. United Chief Executive Officer Dickson Kyere told footyghana.

“He will have his first training session this morning (Monday).”

Addo led Aduana Stars to win their first Ghana Premier League title in 2010 on their debut season.

BA United will battle for the sole qualification ticket in Zone 1 alongside Bechem United, Guan United and Yassin FC.
