Ghana U20 defender Geoffery Acheampong is confident the team can secure a favourable result against Senegal on Saturday in the 2017 African Youth Championship final qualifier.
The 19-year-old who recently signed his first professional contract with Ligue 1 side Bastia has no doubts they can upset Les Lionceaux in Dakar on Saturday in the first leg.
Acheampong told Citi Sports: “We are ready to put up a great performance against Senegal.
“We believe with hard work and determination we can carry the day and I know my colleagues are focused on that.”
The team will leave Accra on Thursday for the first leg tie.
