Austrian side BW-Linz starts pre-season without Ghanaian attacker Paul Mensah

Ghanaian attacker, Paul Mensah was absent from training when FC Blau-Weiss Linz officially commenced pre-season on Tuesday, June 15, 2022.

The forward is one of the few players that earned a lot of plaudit at the club at the end of the 2021/22 football season.

Although he was not the first name on the starting eleven list last season, Paul Mensah always took his chances and made sure he used his quality to help the team.

Eventually, he finished the campaign with 13 games where he contributed three goals and three assists.

Looking forward to becoming a regular at BW-Linz next season, it was expected that the Ghanaian would report to the club for pre-season on time.

Unfortunately, that has not been the case. The youngster missed the first day of pre-season.

According to checks made, the player is in communication with the club and has informed officials of why he has yet to report to the club.
