Ghanaian midfielder, Augustine Boakye has expressed his eagerness to represent the Black Stars.
Boakye is yet to be handed invitation to the senior national team.
In an interview with Flashscore, Boakye shared his desire to wear the national jersey, stating that it would be a “dream come true”.
“I’m from Ghana, so it would be a dream to play for the country, but I am not going to force it and say I have to play in the national team,” he said.
“The call-up could come today or tomorrow; I don’t know when, but when it comes, it will be good and I will be ready.”
The 23 year old is currently playing for French Ligue One side Saint Etienne.
