In the second friendly match of the pre-season at the Centro Sportivo “Città di Clusone”, the Nerazzurri beat Rappresentativa Valli Bergamasche 10-0 before the eyes of Luca Percassi, Tony D’Amico and Lee Congerton.
Ederson broke the deadlock within nine minutes, as he skipped past the defenders and fired a right-foot shot into the near bottom corner to beat the goalkeeper. The Nerazzurri were close to doubling their lead a few times, with Muriel hitting the inside of the post in the 18th minute. The Colombian then made it 2-0 on 27 minutes after a solo move. One minute before half-time, Zapata added a third by turning Zortea’s cross from the byline and Muriel added another one in stoppage time to make it 4-0.
The second half was opened by Boga’s finish into the roof of the net assisted by Malinovskyi. The sixth goal was scored by Malinovskyi on 69 minutes with a right-foot finish into the bottom corner. Two minutes later, it was Cisse who found the back of the net from Hateboer’s assist. Boga then made it 8-0 in the 78th minute, hitting it into the far bottom corner at the end of a mazy run. Malinovskyi then bagged a brace on 86 minutes and Pašalić also had the chance to find the back of the net assisted by Cisse in the 88th minute, making it 10-0. It should be mentioned that Hateboer also hit the post in the final minutes.
The team’s preparations in Alta Valle Seriana will continue tomorrow, Thursday 14 July, with a double session at the Centro Sportivo “Città di Clusone” (the morning training will be behind closed doors, while the afternoon one – at 5.30 p.m. – will be open to the public).
