On Sunday morning, Atalanta hosts Lecce at the GEWISS Stadium as the home team looks to consolidate their position in the top four of Serie A.

The Nerazzurri have moved back into Serie A’s top four in recent weeks, as Gian Piero Gasperini’s team currently sits in third place in the table. However, the boys from Bergamo are level on points with Roma and Milan in fourth and fifth place, respectively.

Atalanta has been in decent form of late in Serie A, winning four of their last six games in the Italian top flight while also scoring at least two goals in seven of their previous eight league matches.

Atalanta’s recent home form has been inconsistent in Serie A, although they have won their last two league games at the GEWISS Stadium.

One facet of their game that needs to improve on home soil is their backline, as Atalanta has conceded at least two goals in four of their last five home matches in the Italian top-flight.

The visitors are seven points clear of the relegation zone in the Italian top flight. However, their recent league form has been inconsistent, as a 1-1 draw with Roma last time out means that Lecce has won just one of their previous six matches in Serie A.

The draw with Roma means that three of Lecce’s last four Serie A games have now produced under 2.5 goals.

Lecce have struggled for victories on their travels in the Italian top flight of late, winning two of their previous seven away games in Serie A.

Their recent away games in the league have been low-scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in their last six away matches.

What does Forebet predict?
