AshGold coach Bashir Hayford keen to promote youngsters for next season

AshGold trainer Bashir Hayford is keen to introduce more youngsters from the club’s reserves squad into the first team for next season after striker Shaffai Mumuni excelled.

Hayford immediately brought 19-year-old attacker from the club’s U20 side after taking over and he made immediate impact scoring 6 goals.

The former Medeama SC boss has identified a couple of prospects including Bright Oduro and Kadir Mohammed and will introduce them straight into his first team.

AshGold, despite their ability to generate funds from the sale of goalkeeper Fatau Dauda and Yakubu Mohammed would not enter the market for new signings as Hayford will seek to work with more youngsters from the reserves squad next season.
