The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, is rallying behind Asante Kotoko as they prepare to face off against Hearts of Oak in the 2025 President’s Cup.
Dr. Amoakohene visited the team’s training grounds and emphasized the importance of teamwork, saying,
“We are encouraging you, it’s all about teamwork. I’m glad the new players are here so that you can work together. We are confident that God willing, on Sunday, you will get the win for Asanteman.”
The Minister assured the team of his support, stating, “On the matchday, we will help with supporter mobilisation for the 2025 President’s Cup.
We will provide you with all the assistance needed so that you can honour us. We believe in you, and we know you will deliver for us.”
Asante Kotoko will face Hearts of Oak on Sunday, July 6, at the Accra Sports Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 4 pm.
Dr. Amoakohene’s visit and words of encouragement are expected to boost the team’s morale and motivation as they aim to bring home the trophy and bragging rights.
