Assistant coach of Asante Kotoko, David Ocloo, says the technical team is taking full responsibility for the club’s poor performance in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors have been struggling in recent games, managing just one draw and suffering five losses in their last six matches, leading to a drop to 10th place with 33 points after 25 games.
This downturn has sparked widespread calls for the dismissal of head coach Prosper Nartey Ogum.
Speaking to Akoma FM, Ocloo addressed the team’s current challenges.
“When things are not going well, who do they blame? It’s always the technical team. We will take it in good faith, we are still working and we will turn things around.
“We are a work in progress, there is no pressure on us. We just have to go back and work hard, and try to turn things around.” Ocloo stated.
Kotoko is gearing up for their next challenge against Dreams FC in an away match, where they aim to improve their standings and regain their fans’ confidence.
