Asante Kotoko To Promote Youth as club refrains from signings

Published: 4 weeks ago
Ghana Premier League

Asante Kotoko won’t be making any signings in the upcoming transfer window, according to Communications Director Lawyer Sarfo Duku.

Instead, the club will focus on promoting youth players into the squad.

This decision comes as the team prepares for the rest of the season.

The Porcupine Warriors are looking to streamline their squad as they battle for the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup trophies.

Duku’s announcement suggests the club is committed to nurturing local talent and giving young players a chance to shine.

Asante Kotoko currently sits 5th in the league table, eight behind league leaders Medeama.

The team’s focus will be on strengthening their squad with youth players to achieve better results.
