Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko play Ivorian side AS Tanda to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday for a friendly international game.
Kotoko have since August been training and playing local sides as part of their preparation for the 2014/15 season which has unduly delayed.
This time, the Porcupines will be playing a side from Cote d’Ivoire. The team has vowed to extend the good form they have kept in matches against the local sides to Sunday’s friendly international game.
The start of the 2014/15 season is unknown as King Faisal continues to battle the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in court in a case which also involves Aduana Stars.
The case has prolonged following several adjournments. The latest date for hearing is November 12.
Football enthusiasts in the country are gradually getting weary over the legal issue that has sadly delayed the start of the new season.
But Kotoko fans will have more to cheer about on Sunday when one of the two top friendly matches arranged for the team comes on.
Though a friendly match, Coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani has adopted a serious approach to the game.
