Asante Kotoko in talks with Al Hilal to sign defender Salomon Banga on loan – Reports

Ghana Premier League side, Asante Kotoko are in talks with Sudanese giants, Al Hilal to sign defender Salomon Charles Banga Bindjeme on loan until the end of the season.

According to reports, the Cameroonian international will join the Porcupine Warriors until the end of the season.

Kotoko are hoping to complete the acquisition of the 27-year-old centre-back to bolster their defense for the second round of the ongoing 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

He joined Al Hilal from Difaa El Jadida in 2021 after impressing in the Moroccan league.

Al Hilal farmed him back to El Jadida in January 2023 but the loan has been cancelled and will be heading to the two-time CAF Champions League title holders to compete in the Ghana Premier League.

Salomon Charles Banga featured for Cameroon during the 2020 CHAN tournament in Morocco.

Asante Kotoko following their impressive win over Accra Lions on Monday now sit 2nd on the league log with 27 points and will face Dreams FC in the matchday 17 games at the Theatre of Dreams at Dawu.
