Asante Kotoko eye GoldStars’Attah Kumi as Albert Amoah’s replacement

Bibiani GoldStars lethal striker Samuel Attah Kumi has popped up on the radar of Asante Kotoko who have reportedly expressed strong interest and are looking forward to starting negotiations with his club very soon. 

The 26-year-old has been on a very good run since joining the Miners prior to the start of last season from Karela United and has already hit the grounds running in the new campaign. 

He is currently leading the top scorers chat with six goals from seven matches in the league and is definitely going to increase his tally heading into subsequent matches. 

The lanky center-forward is expected to start and get more goals when Bibiani GoldStars host Young Apostles FC in the next round of matches this weekend.

Samuel Attah Kumi has a solid 33-goal involvements in the league from his days at Karela United to GoldStars, having netted 28 goals and provided 5 assists within that period. He netted 10 goals in his debut season at the Dun’s Park.

Despite still having injured Kwame Opoku at the club, majority believe this will be a great signing and a perfect replacement for Albert Amoah — who has already left the club to join Libyan side Al Ahly Benghazi.
