Asante Kotoko drop out of top four after loss to Karela

Asante Kotoko are out of the top four in the Betpawa Premier League after suffering a 1-0 loss to Karela United at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.

A second half penalty converted by Samuel Atta Kumi aided the home victory.

The Porcupines had opportunities to restore parity but could not convert their chances with Ugandan international Steven Mukwala the most culpable.

There were other attempts from Enoch Morrison and Eric Serge Zeze but could not find the equalizer.

The result now see the Nzema-based outfit moved out of the drop zone to 14 position with 19 point.
