Berekum Chelsea coach Samuel Boadu has refuted claims his side were second best to Kotoko in their MTN FA Cup semi-finals game.
Chelsea lost 1-0 to Kotoko after Albert Amosh scored the winning goal for the Porcupine Warriors in a tightly contested game.
Boadu, a two-time winner of the FA Cup, was looking to leverage his experience against the Porcupine Warriors.
Despite Berekum Chelsea’s gallant efforts, Amoah’s goal nine minutes before full time was the difference.
Reflecting on the game, Boadu said:
“They didn’t do anything better than my team. They scored us. Goalscoring is an opportunity. We got it we didn’t score, they got it they scored.”
Kotoko are set to face Golden Kick in the final of the competition on June 15.
