Asante Kotoko’s Interim Management Committee members, Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua and Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi, actively participated in the landmark launch of CAF’s African Club Association (ACA) inaugural meeting in Cairo on Friday.
Led by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, the event served as a pivotal platform for electing executives and board members, along with adopting statutes to govern the newly established African Club Association. The initiative is strategically aimed at enhancing and advancing club football across the continent.
Young Africans President, Hersi A. Said was elected as the inaugural Chairman of the ACA.
He will serve with two deputies: Jessica Motaung from Kaizer Chiefs (South Africa) and Nigeria’s Paul Bassey from Akwa United.
