Asante Kotoko defender Yusif Mubarik was adjudged Man of the Match in his sides stalemate against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
The former Ashantigold players started and lasted the entire duration in Kotoko’s 1-1 draw against the Phobians in matchday 3 of the Ghana Premier League.
Mubarik was solid at the back for Kotoko, putting Kwadwo Obeng Junior and Junior Kaaba at bay throughout the game.
The towering guardsman opened the scoring in the 57th minute for the Porcupine Warriors before Hearts of Oak restored parity in the dying embers of the game.
His outstanding performance did not go unnoticed, winning the Man of the match prize after the game.
