Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have announced that Brazilian midfielder Fabio Dos Santos Gama has left the club.
The talented midfielder in 2020 joined the Reds on a free transfer and instantly became one of the key players for the team throughout his debut season.
Although injuries worried him in his second season, he managed to play a key role to help the Reds to win the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
To confirm what has been reported by footballghana this week, Asante Kotoko have today through a post on the club’s official Twitter handle disclosed that Fabio Gama is no longer with the club.
“Fabio Gama leaves Asante Kotoko after the expiration of his contract.
“Fabio informed Management at the end of the season of his desire to explore other opportunities elsewhere after two successful season with the Club,” a post on the Twitter page of the club has said.
