Asante Kotoko conclude second phase of pre-season training in Sudan without a win

Ghana Premier League side, Asante Kotoko have had a very good pre-season training in Sudan.

The Kumasi-based club travelled to Sudan two weeks ago to hold the second phase of pre-season training in the country,

The move was to help the club to adequately prepare for the start of the 2022/23 football season where the team is targeting a lot of success.

Today, Asante Kotoko played the fourth friendly match in Sudan in a game against Al Ahli Khartoum.

At the end of a very good exercise, the game ended 1-1 as both teams took positives from the the exercise.

The result means that while in Sudan, Asante Kotoko failed to record a single win from four friendly matches.

The team lost three matches and conceded 13 goals while scoring three times.

The team is expected to return to Ghana on Thursday to continue preparations for the start of the Ghana Premier League next weekend.
