Ghana Premier League heavyweights Asante Kotoko have officially announced the signing of former Aduana Stars striker Isaac Mintah.
The 26-year-old forward has penned a two-and-a-half-year deal with the club after successfully negotiations
Mintah joins Kotoko with an impressive track record in the Ghana Premier League having scored 17 goals and provided four assists in 40 appearances for Aduana Stars.
Head Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum expressed his delight with the acquisition.
“Isaac is an exceptional forward who knows how to make things happen in the final third.
“His eye for goal and ability to link up with teammates make him a perfect fit for our style of play. We’re excited to have him onboard and look forward to seeing him do well for us.”
Mintah, speaking about his move to Kotoko, shared: “I’m so happy to join Kotoko; it’s a huge moment in my career. This club has a strong winning mentality, and I’m ready to be part of that.
“I know there’s a lot of competition for places here especially in the attacking areas, but that only motivates me to push harder and improve every day.
“I’m here to give my best, help the team, and contribute to the success of this great club.”
Mintah previously played for Libyan side Al-Ahli and is expected to bolster the team’s attacking options.
He becomes Kotoko’s third major acquisition during the second transfer window, joining Kwame Opoku
and Sampson Eduku.
