Coach Seydou Zerbo has congratulated Hearts of Oak for beating Asante Kotoko SC to claim the 2023 President’s Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Phobians emerged winners of the competition following a header by centre-back Konadu Yiadom in the early exchanges of the second half.
Coach Zerbo bemoans his side’s failure to utilize their chances in the loss.
“We were not very skillful in front of goal.” coach Zerbo told media after the game.
“We had numerous chances but we failed to score and our opponent scored the only chance they had and I say congratulations to them”. Zerbo added.
Hearts defended the trophy, having beaten the Porcupines in the previous edition.
