Asante Kotoko are in advanced talks to sign Dreams FC forward Joseph Esso ahead of their return to CAF inter-club football.
The Porcupines are keen to strengthen their squad as they gear up for the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
Esso impressed in the just-ended Ghana Premier League season, netting 10 goals and registering one assist in 31 appearances.
The 28-year-old was a key figure for Dreams FC, helping them maintain a competitive edge throughout the season.
Kotoko coach Karim Zito is a strong admirer of Esso, having previously worked with him at Dreams FC.
Zito sees the forward as a valuable addition to Kotoko’s attack due to his experience and versatility.
A deal is expected to be finalised soon as Kotoko aim to assemble a formidable side for continental action.
