Asante Kotoko board have denied reports about the resignation of Prosper Narteh Ogum as their head coach.
News of the trainer’s supposed departure went viral with multiple sources claiming Ogum was not on the same wavelength with Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah.
It was understood Ogum told NYA and management of his decision to step down in a zoom meeting on Wednesday.
But the Board, in a letter signed by their Secretary, Kwamina Mensah Esq. poured cold water on the report.
Ogum is currently the assistant coach of the CHAN team, the Black Galaxies, preparing to face Benin republic in the 2022 CHAN qualifiers on Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium.
