After a lengthy and contentious legal battle spanning three years, an Accra court has issued a ruling on the paternity of Asamoah Gyan’s ex-wife’s three children.
The court’s decision confirmed that the former Ghanaian international striker is indeed the father of the children.
As part of the settlement, Gyan has been ordered to provide financial support for the upbringing of his three children.
The court specified a monthly payment of GH¢25,000 to cover their general expenses. It’s important to note that this amount excludes specific expenses such as school fees, medical and dental care, flight tickets, and various other childcare costs.
In addition to the financial support, Gyan’s wife, Gifty, is set to receive several assets and properties as part of the settlement.
These assets include Asamoah Gyan’s UK mansion, a four-bedroom house located in Spintex, Accra, and various vehicles, including a BMW and an Infiniti.
Additionally, she will gain ownership of a piece of land originally intended for a fuelling station in Prampram.
