Asamoah Gyan training alone at Al Ain as he works his way to return to full fitness

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has been doing physical exercises on his away from the Al Ain team as he works his way back to full fitness.

The 29-year-old has missed the side’s last two games due to an ‘infection’.

Gyan was also excluded from Ghana’s squad to face Senegal and Mali in international friendlies at the end of this month as he continue with his recovery.

The former Sunderand hitman has been training away from the first team with a physical instructor.

Zlatko Dalic side have fared quite okay in the absence of their lead marksman – drawing away to Al Dhafra last weekend in the domestic league and beating Pakhtakor on the road in the Asian Champions League.

Sunday’s league match at Emirates might come too early for the Black Stars captain who is still feeling his way back to full fitness.
