Great Olympics midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has named Asamoah Gyan as greatest Ghanaian striker of all-time.
The former Udinese star argued that Gyan, his ex-international teammate was a focal point for an entire generation.
“I will pick Asamoah Gyan as the best striker ever because he is the one I played with,” he told Sports Obama TV.
“We didn’t watch most of the senior players, but at least I have read about them and what they did in the game, but I think Gyan is the best ever.”
Asamoah Gyan is Ghana’s all time top scorer with 51 goals having represented the Black Stars since 2003.
He is also Africa’s leading scorer at the FIFA World cup having been present at three tournaments (2006, 2010 & 2014).
