Ghanaian legend Asamoah Gyan is in talks with Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko over a move ahead of the new football season.
Discussions are going on positively and a deal is expected to be struck before the transfer window shuts at midnight.
He has been unattached since departing Legon Cities in 2021.
Gyan had already made his intentions public of a return to the Black Stars for this year’s World Cup in Qatar.

The nation’s all-time scorer (51) is on a two-month training regime to be in shape for a sensational comeback.
His last appearance for Ghana was during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] in Egypt where the team exited at the Round of 16 against Tunisia.
