Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan scored a double for UAE Pro League title-holders Al Ain in their heavy 5-2 win over Al Shaab on Sunday afternoon.Â
The Black Stars captain opened the floodgate for Ain with a 24th minute strike from the spot before completing his double with a top-class finish ten minutes from time.
Ain had to resist a strong challenge from the bottom-placed side who scored in the first minute of first-half stoppage time.
But still the host restored their lead before the break.
Ain scored more with Brazil Michel Bastos and Brosque among the scorers.
And, Gyan cemented the win for his side and increase his season’s tally to 14 from 11 games.
