Artificial headache for Ghana boss

Artificial headache for Ghana boss

Rajevac reckons the Swazis are hosting the game on an artificial pitch in a bid to gain an advantage and hopes his players will use their stay in South Africa to get used to the difficulty of playing on the surface.   He told KickOffGhana.com: “It is going to be rather different from before. We are playing on an artificial pitch and we need to adjust which is why we are training herein Johannesburg. We will have enough time for our team to be ready. It is the first match of the qualifiers and very important so we would not have to underestimate anyone.”   Rajevac’s first training session with the team in Soweto was subdued on Tuesday evening but he says he is still delighted with the attitude and desire he saw.   “What is important is that there is a fine atmosphere in the team and the players are really excited about playing competitive football again, they are excited about representing their country,” he concluded.
