Arsenal and PSV Eindhoven will play their previously postponed Europa League group stage match on Thursday night at the Emirates. The original match was postponed due to Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September.
The match’s result will dictate the possible outcome of Europa League Group A. Arsenal lead the group with nine points from three games. PSV Eindhoven are second in the group with seven points from three fixtures. The Dutch club could go above Arsenal in the standings with a win.

Due to the original match being postponed, Arsenal and PSV Eindhoven will play back-to-back matches in the Europa League. A win on Thursday night will help one of the two clubs to take a step toward automatic progression to the last 16.
Arsenal are in fantastic form ahead of the match with seven straight games ending as wins. The Gunners defeated Leeds United 1-0 on Sunday to continue their brilliant play.
Mikel Arteta’s team is playing well at the Emirates stadium this season. They have won six of six matches, scoring 17 goals and conceding seven times.
PSV Eindhoven are also in great form. They are on a four-match winning streak in all competitions. They outscored their last four opponents 17-2.
The Lightbulbs have played eight times on the road, with a record of 4W-2D-2L. They scored 21 goals and conceded 12 times in their eight road matches in all competitions.
Arsenal’s defence in the Europa League has been excellent, conceding one goal in three games. The Gunners scored six goals in their opening three tournament group-stage matches.
PSV Eindhoven outscored their three Europa League opponents 11-2. They are scoring freely in all competitions. However, Arsenal’s defence will be one of the strongest rearguards PSV have faced all season.
Arteta is likely to rotate the Arsenal starting XI. He has three players set to miss the game through injury as Emile Smith Rowe, Mohamed Elneny, and Oleksandr Zinchenko. Gabriel Jesus and Bakayo Saka could both be held out of the match to rest.
Five players could miss the game for PSV manager Ruud van Nistelrooy. Yorbe Vertessen is a doubt due to a muscle injury. Ismael Saibari has a hamstring injury and is out of the match.
Marco van Ginkel is a doubt with a hamstring strain. Forward Noni Madueke is also a doubt following an ankle sprain. Defender Olivier Boscagli could miss the game with a knee injury.
Arsenal are playing well and the defence should keep PSV Eindhoven’s attack in check. The Gunners should claim an eighth straight win with a final score of 2-0.
