Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has revealed that defender Sergio Reguilon will miss Tottenham’s clash with Liverpool at the weekend, and admitted that the Spaniard could now not play again this season following a groin injury.
The defender sat out of their 3-1 win over Leicester city with the problem, and Conte claimed that he cannot say for sure whether he will be back in time to play any part in their final four games of the season.
‘Sergio Reguilon is not available’, he told the media. ‘He hasn’t had a training session with us. Honestly I don’t know, it’s only two weeks until the end of the season and I’m not sure if he’ll be back.’

It leaves Ryan Sessengnon with the monumental task of keeping Mo Salah, who tops both the goalscoring and assist charts in the Premier League, quiet when the two sides meet.
Kulusevksi ‘100% a Tottenham player’
Meanwhile, Conte was also quizzed on Kulusesvski, who has impressed since joining on loan from Juventus in January. The Swede, who came alongside midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur on deadline day, has managed 11 goal contributions since January, and has thrived alongside Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son for Conte.
And the Italian manager revealed that the club will certainly be taking up the option to buy, thought to be around £25m, to keep the 21 year old in north London beyond this summer.
‘He is on loan but it is like a deal, he is a Tottenham player 100 per cent in every aspect, not officially but he is a 100 per cent a Tottenham player’, he revealed.
Asked Conte if he’ll advise the club to make Kulusevski’s loan deal permanent this summer: “Yeah, but he is on loan but it is like a deal, he is a Tottenham player 100 per cent in every aspect, not officially but he is a 100 per cent a Tottenham player.” https://t.co/fxQAzMMJ8P
