Antoine Semenyo marks Bournemouth debut in defeat at Brighton

Antoine Semenyo made his debut for AFC Bournemouth in their 1-0 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

The striker who arrived at the club last Friday was handed his first Premier League start by coach Gary O’Neil at the Amex Stadium.

The Ghanaian international lasted the entire duration and worked tirelessly up front as the Cherries suffered a narrow defeat on the road.

Semenyo joined AFC Bournemouth in the winter transfer window from Championship side Bristol City.

The 23 year old penned a four-and-a-half-year deal, with the club retaining an option of a further year.
