Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew has paid a courtesy call on the National Chief Imam, His Eminence, Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharabutu.
The 32 year old visited the Imam at his residence in Fadama, Accra with his daughter Inaya on Thursday evening, following his return to Ghana from the World Cup.
Ghana failed to advance to the knockout stage in Qatar after finishing bottom of Group H with three points.
Andre has come under heavy criticism following his costly penalty miss in the 2-0 defeat in the final Group game against Uruguay.
He is Ghana’s most-capped player, having made 103 appearances for the national team.
The Al Sadd forward made his senior debut in 2007 and has scored 24 goals for the the Black Stars, including a record 10 goals at the Africa Cup of Nations.
