Former Ghana international Charles Taylor has acknowledged the importance of Andre Ayew to the senior national soccer team, the Black Stars.
Ayew missed the games against Mexico and USA after he was excused by the Ghana FA to sort out club career.
And in his absence, the Black Stars succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Mexico at the Bank of America Stadium last Saturday before their heavy defeat against The Yanks of USA at the Geodis Stadium.
Speaking on Angel TV, the former Hearts of Oak and Kotoko midfielder emphasized that captain Andre Ayew must be included in the Black Stars with or without a club.
“Andre Ayew should always be part of the Black Stars whether he has club or not and we need Mubarak Wakaso back in the team urgently” he said.
Ayew is currently without a club after leaving Nottingham Forest in June following the expiration of his contract.
